When using procreate do you break down the painting in layers and then physically paint it back up? I am new to Procreate but the options are so good

This was a joy to paint. Drawing room rocks is a rock formation at the top of the valley meeting the coast. Such a good hike and the location is a geographical treat.

Meet Juliet, she normally is a sweet girl until shearing time and now she is harassing our freshly shorn alpaca like she is meeting someone new. The alpaca has lived with her since she was one week old. She currently has a green head from alpaca spit. Actually I will add a photo of that.
