That Loving Feeling Vol. III
My old friend Rasheed has opened Brighton’s first LGBTQ+-centred record shop, Dream Street Records. A welcoming space that champions queer musicians and artists, it’s already becoming a community hub. Give it a follow and spread the word: www.instagram.com/dreamstreetb...
Rash sits in a rocking chair outside his new shop Dream Street Records in Brighton. The facade of the shop has bright yellow window frames with bright blue walls featuring a mix of 90s-esque patterns.
Visited my dear chum Rash at his brand new record shop Dream Street Records today. It’s slap bang in Brighton’s North Laine and - as Rash so eloquently describes - “celebrates the significant, sometimes life-saving role that pop has played for generations of LGBTQ+ people”. dreamstreetrecords.co.uk
The frontage of Dream Street Records in Brighton, UK. It features large windows with net curtains and yellow painted frames, a pink door and blue horizontal signage that shows a variety of shapes and patterns along with the shop’s name inside a white cloud.
Went to a lovely new record store in #Brighton that has more of a queer POV than your average, although still stocks your classic albums. Just chilled and friendly, thanks to Rashid the owner. I added @goldenshoulders.bsky.social to his alternative ‘albums you should own’ list.
