Hey folks! I'm still working on Part 16 of the series and it's a bit of a doozy. Due to the type of story, this is shaping to be the biggest yet, big enough that I'm thinking of splitting to 2 parts.

Video games often have floating platforms, but they don’t explain why the platforms are floating. That’s where game writers come in, to say that platforms are kept aloft by “ghostium” an invisible fog created by the souls of every dead person
I will say the combat is fun.
Grapple hooking around the enemies and using parry to refresh your movement options is always fun
MIO from the indie game MIO jumping to a crystal as Dr. Hailyn tells her minions to chase after them, the rat.
Finished MIO for February. It was a neat little game with a cool art style but I don’t think I ever fully bought in the game at any point.
Theres some aspects of the level design, lore integration and platforming mechanics that always felt off

I really have to wonder why any company even bothers with GAAS if they're unwilling to properly give them time? Stuff like 2XKO, Highguard, Concord etc - regardless of how you feel about them, killing them off or downsizing the teams just 2-3 weeks after a game releases is insane to me.
I wonder how many execs at Sony are responsible for the terribly large number of jobs lost as a result of Games as a Service project failures and cancellations
