His entire right hand, and parts of his left hand's fingers also have the endoskeleton exposed. He is pointing suspiciously at the viewer, as though to suggest he'll be watching them distrustfully. For both characters, most of their clothing is in poor condition, with a variety of tears and rips, though some attempt seems to have been made to repair them.
