Not everyone goes downtown for sure, but looking at the ridership of 62, 76, and 94 and the large area they deserve, there needs to be something better.

Even for the lucky ones that happen to live near an at grade light rail, the speed and frequency aren't too impressive.

And service quality shows too. I saw an Instagram reels saying a $4 BART transbay trip is a barrier to access compared to a $1.75 LA Metro trip, and I was like to me having only a local bus option that casually makes 100 stops before getting to the city center is a bigger barrier of entry.

Wait until you need the Riverside 200 bus to the Inland Empire. It stops like a mile away to avoid the usage cost🫠
