Not all hues (and color pickers) are the same value wise. Some got different degrees of saturation that translates to wildly different apparent values

if you wanna start getting out of an art block, you can try drawing something silly and low-stakes that you can draw a bunch of at once, like ladybugs, flowers, etc.

Don't think too hard about it, just put something on the page, as if you're doodling in class to help pass the time.
