I think if you’re a townie crank who opposes sidewalks at elementary schools and bike lanes and anything that makes life safer, you should be required to present an alternative that achieves the same goal.
Completely understandable. But for those who are finally moved to make calls for the first time due to current events, having anxiety around knowing where to start and what to say could keep you from making a call in the first place. Scripted call is better than no call in my opinion.
