When you like someone’s post it just creates a notification TO THEM ONLY that you liked it.
My husband and I bought a beautifully-shaped bonsai for his hard-to-shop-for dad for Christmas one year. The next time we visited it looked weird. Turns out, it died and he spray painted it green. He loved it. It's been 25 years and I'm still not over it
