Took a hike earlier today in Mt. Airy forest. I saw some early signs of spring! What a good feeling it is to see some blooms and some greenery! I believe this is Purple Cress. Nice little wild flower.

I definitely have not been practicing as I should. I think things plateaued and I became frustrated.

Another from yesterday. I enjoyed the way the shadows from the fire escape played with the colors. I've not eaten here, so I can't review their tacos, sadly. This was taken on my K10D with a 135 mm lens.

Still life of a textured vase. The light is coming from the right. The vase is sat on orange / pink fabric decorated with flowers.
I also took a photo of this vase, I did enjoy the way the shadows play with the texture of the vase. Hope everyone has a great Thursday!
I nearly didn't get my daily picture in! I quickly grabbed some items around the house, some fabric, and a small clip light. My goal was to play with some shadows and see if i can create with as little as I could. Here are some alliums :)
