Lyft driver Tabitha started being racist against “Mexicans and illegals” as soon as she picked me up. When I said “I think you’re mistaken,” she kicked me out. I told her to drop me off at a Mexican restaurant and then I went in and had a nice lunch. And I left a big tip.

There are plenty of atheists that are not anti theist. Those are the ones that typically don’t feel the need to proclaim they are atheist.

You are absolutely correct. This is exactly why atheist groups don’t do very well. We only have that one thing in common.

Many atheists are humanists, but not all of them.

Theism = belief in one or more deities
Fairies, witches, ghosts, leprechauns are not deities.
Also, witches are real. We call them Wiccan today, but they exist.
You are thinking of skeptics, empiricists, rationalists, or materialists.
Atheism has a different definition.
