Have you read the apology?

I remember that too. In the Bear Garden trying to find out what exactly was the order I was told to seek! Said the magic words. Order made. Left none the wiser.
Good point. The second reference to Wales shouldnβt be there. My primary point is that she deserves a wider audience. That said there is much on BBC Wales that does. Fliss however is really a class act who should progress.
Felicity Evans who is a journalist on BBc Wales not should be on @bbcnewsnight.bsky.social Wales really is a quality journalist who deserves a wider audience.
If the rain we have had here since yesterday afternoon had come as snow we would be knee deep by now!
Congratulations.
It really is.
Nicola Walker is simply magnificent in everything she does.
Very smart Billy.
I tho k they are simply completing the ones already planned by the previous government and the will be
Looking at other options. The Gauke Sentencing review should prove interesting.
Currently experiencing both here in South Wales!
Welcome development. NB that the citation need not be against any particular criteria (eg merit and willingness to be an active member): contrast Lord Nortonβs Bill, though presumably parties will usually want to make a case under both heads to avoid ridicule. bills.parliament.uk/publications...
This is exactly why we do what we do.
Well written from @willhaycardiff.bsky.social as always, but remember that @plaidcymru.bsky.social will never βshrug & accept that this is the way it isβ.
Plaid will always fight your corner, & more & more people are choosing Plaidβs positive vision. Let us offer a new kind of leadership for Wales.
Itβs a fantastic stadium. Second only to the Principality.
I was on the cusp of buying one just around the time when he got so embroiled in election politics. It was a fantastic car but I couldnβt bring myself to support his business.
How is it proposed a judge can be satisfied on this aspect? To what extent will there be a proper enquiry into it? Will the judge have discretion on these decisions or are they simply there to rubber stamp the process once the medical evidence shows that P has capacity and approaching end of life?
Me too
Exactly that. Those who said they were satisfied that all the necessary safeguards were in place simply havenβt thought this through at all.
Mariella Frostrup on Q Time cited her motherβs dementia to inform her support. Capacity likely to be lost long before death in six months could be predicted.
I canβt see how a judge is going to be able to examine and be satisfied about that without a full and detailed hearing including evidence from the patient.
Seems to me that as drafted the court is merely a rubber stamp process if criteria met. Pointless in those circumstances and something of an abuse of the HIgh Court. I sense itβs there simply to provide some reassurance although in reality it does not.
Tnis interview with Liberty is well worth a read. It highlights a number of issues that are not being given sufficient consideration in this very complex and highly nuanced debate.
I have a three year old grandchild and can attest to the power of the cross examination that just keeps asking the question βwhy?β
This is surely a spoof! I canβt believe he really said this out
loud!
@hwinkler4real.bsky.social is here!
I have always taken the view that if you have to resort to Magna Carta to make your case you usually do t have much else!
It should be fine with your Bar Pass
How wonderful to feel that connection
Does she know that those
people would have chosen to have killed themselves if they had the option? Or is she saying what she would have wished for them? Itβs these sort of tensions they make the decision so difficult.
I remember both Ernest and Margaret well. I became a door tenant at SJB when Ernest, Margaret de Haas and husband all took appointments and relatively new silk and my good buddy, Anthony was the only silk in town. Many cases done on your patch and good friendships made. Good times.
