This is particularly sad to me because their veggie burger hits a sweet spot for quality/price that I haven’t found anywhere else. I guess it’s time to look further.

Ok, I’m reading it again. They are only working 120 hours a year for the reserve. This sounds like a very restricted commission to be basically a consultant. I doubt they have any command over much more than planning meetings.
And aside from a Physics degree, there was no accreditation to teach Physics.
When I did it, the Doctors and Lawyers went thought different Indoctrination school which has much easier than boot camp. As I did to prepare for teaching about Nuclear Power plants.
My parents let us pick an extra candy bar the night Nixon resigned. Who wouldn’t want to go back to that?
This is sad. He was really good in the Peanut Butter Falcon.
Now is the wrong time for me to be recovering from knee pain. Not being able to run is making things worse.
No matter how it’s communicated, it’s either too much info for the execs to deal with, or too little for the other teams to get what they need. The dream is to have an AI that generates the right reports only when needed, so we are not constantly updating reports or systems in case someone needs it.
In my line of work, software development, someone has to keep management up to date on how far along the project is towards completion. The “reports” go unread because they never get the right info to the right people. 1/
I was shocked to find the official recipe does not have cheese. My mom’s version added a block of cheese shredded.
And if you want to feel sophisticated, pan fry some mushrooms and add them to a rue sauce.
They are a unique taste that has nothing to do with any other tacos I’ve ever had. I think they are just crispy grease with a splash of shredded lettuce.
I used to buy them by the box, until my dental bill got too high. The work it took to chew them was part of the experience.
My vegetarian daughter has decided Burger King is the best Impossible Burger. Their spicy chicken sandwich is the only way I survive the meal.
My kids swear it’s the fruit flavored Tootsie Rolls that are the worst. I can only buy them in small amounts in bulk, because when I find a bag, I eat it in one sitting.
Luckily, I heard that from a dance instructor before, so it has positive associations.
When I’m talking in Toastmasters, someone is assigned to count how often we use filler words, such as “so” or “like”. One time, I spoke a sentence where the “so” and “like” where grammatically necessary, just to tease them. This post has that same energy.
When I was a kid, my dad swore by the beef tongue served in the Basque restaurants in Bakersfield. Sadly, I was too young to appreciate it.
We have a Georgian place up here, next door in Palo Alto called Bevri. Also very recommended.
The problem is it’s actually up to Congress. Puerto Rico has voted in favor of statehood more than once. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_Pu...
Until the Instapot came out, a pressure cooker was not part of the white people’s kitchen. Can was the only way.
There was a point where I was worried they were not going to pull off the ending, but it was solid.
It’s tricky. I used to cultivate an image that I don’t “put up with that BS”. That seems to have meant that people learned to not show certain behaviors in front of me.
It’s Mother’s Flaky Flix for me.
Please don’t make me look up the toenail picture. Once was enough.
Honestly, I find it’s best to go somewhere private, and let myself cry about it for a moment.
I finally booked the trip to the Ice Hotel in Sweden that I’ve promised my kids for years, and now this. I hope I make it before things get worse.
That’s the sad thing. When Republicans turned to Trumpism, I did it expect Libertarians to do so as well.
That was a literal laugh, thanks.
It’s one of those words that still confuses me. Based on the contexts I’ve seen it in, I thought it was something like “haughty indifference”. But the dictionary implies I’m the only one who sees the “haughty” part.
That explains it. Now I’m seeing the right stories.
