All of my super edgy thumbnails for my YouTube videos, and the latest one is Homelander from The Boys licking a bottle of milk from Majora's Mask.
Slightly jarring.

I've been doing a ton of writing, reading, and piano practice the past week. Basically not letting myself watch streams unless I'm eating has been very productive.
It's been great but I think I need to START the day with the stream, or time will get away from me regardless.
Starting Majoras Mask first playthrough later tonight when I wake up.
In case you missed this write-up from 2am though π
Comparison shot between the new Classic Ryu figure side-by-side with the cover art for Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos, where this particular pose is inspired from. They are both in a crouching position as they unsheathe the Dragon Sword, his katana, in the classic blue outfit.
Woke up and came across THIS fucking beauty on my timeline. As a massive NES Ninja Gaiden fan, I couldn't help but do a write-up for it on Patreon (free post). Yes, I made more comparison shots as well:

Reviews: Absolum (18 hours), Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (198 hours), SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance (19.5 hours), "Is The Playdate Worth Purchasing in 2026?", Final Sentence Demo (8.5 hours), and "Pebble Returns with the Classic, the New, and the Unexpected".
Just finished my Absolum review for patrons.
Been really enjoying getting into blog-post style reviews as opposed to stressing over my hatred of post-commentary videos.
So far I've got some beefy reviews, fun posts, Book Club, and more to come.

Officially in my 40's as of today.
I'll be live later with the start of the Zelda Marathon (Midlife-athon?), a franchise which also just turned 40.
For fun I made a Patreon post (not paywalled) to highlight my personal GOTY each year since I was born:

I just want to say Im NOT turning 40 on March 2nd, but if I were I'd marathon 4 Zelda games as the franchise is also turning 40:
Link's Awakening - First game I ever beat.
First Playthroughs:
Majoras Mask
Wind Waker
Twilight Princess
March 2nd Big (not 40th) Birthday Marathon

Ideally I'll be live later tonight with Zelda and stream until the Direct.
I've got an entire list of games to return to and attempt to finish because I know whenever Duskbloods launches I will become fully consumed and all dreams of variety gaming will be out the window.
Gonna be covering Nintendo Direct in the morning (8am CST) on Twitch.
Finally setting up the Switch 2 tonight for two reasons:
1. Off-chance theres a Duskbloods Network Test sign up.
2. Returning to Tears of the Kingdom as I attempt to finish open playthroughs before DB launch.
Thumbnail for my new recap video that shows all the games played and at which time. The games are Hytale (8am CST), Blue Prince (12pm), Shinobi: Art of Vengeance (4pm), and Signalis (8pm). Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Missed the 16-hour long stream yesterday? I got you covered.
Here's the recap of Day 1 of my new themed variety stream: Wholesome to Horror, Morning to Midnight.
See y'all tomorrow at 8am CST...totally on the dot and not late!

"Peeve you've done multiple long streams a week before."
Yeah, but 10 hours of those may be a single boss fight or some shit I'm hyperfixated on π
Easy to skim.
This is 4 games being progressed at once (granted Hytale is more sandbox goofing around than standard progression).
Recap feels needed.
This entire stream was a blast, and the constant change-ups kept things from getting stale for viewers and myself. Also feels nice to have a guaranteed rest day after.
Today I'm going to edit a YT recap, "16hrs in 16min", since I can't expect everyone to skim 3 16hr vods a week.

Morning - Family-friendly game. May avoid excessive cursing to lean in. Game: Hytale.
Afternoon - Anything w/o excessive violence. Game: Blue Prince.
Evening - Violence. Game: Shinobi: Art of Vengeance.
Midnight - Horror. Signalis.
16hrs total. Starts 8am CST tomorrow. MWF.
Not one for New Years Resolutions but this year I'm looking to try more ideas I get that seem interesting enough. Been trying different forms of a schedule (recent derailed by sickness), but got an idea to try tomorrow
Morning to Midnight - a long stream themed by time of day:
Handheld console by Panic called the PlayDate. It's a vibrant yellow with a dpad and B/A buttons. There's also a dedicated arm crank on the side that many games utilize. Really cool, niche system with tons of indie titles.
May do a hand cam for the PlayDate game since I think seeing the little console being played is more interesting than just a direct capture, but no promises.
Bringing back the schedule starting tomorrow.
3pm CST Mon - Fri. Weekends are a tossup.
Juggling E33 and Skate Story this week.
Fridays will be a weekly Indie Game Showcase. Game trailers, indie of my choice for 1hr, one suggested by chat for 1hr, then PlayDate games for 1hr.
