I just got back from 36 hours in Ukraine with my brother Scott. Wanted to share a story from while we were there. At a hospital, we talked with a wounded Ukrainian soldier.
I asked him what he thought about the recent change in US policy. His response in English was, “What the fuck.”

Russia does not want to end the war, and the Trump administration has shown no ability to induce Russia to end the war. And so, predictably, the Trump administration blames the victim, blames Ukraine.
It shows extreme weakness to act that way. Disgraceful but expected.
Given that the Trump people did nothing to induce Russia to end the war, it’s fair to conclude that the whole idea of pursuing peace was just a pretext to renew relations with Russia.
Can you please look at some poll numbers and stop spreading the "half" misinformation?

No, the meeting did not go badly for Ukraine. It exposed in the most undeniable, unequivocal way possible the pro-Putin commitments of the president and vice president. That was information Americans and allies needed to have clear before them.

This is how you do "diplomacy" when you're weak as fuck. Trump's poll numbers are absolutely tanking due to this betrayal and the attempts to destroy the economy, so I'm sure he's getting a TON of pressure from the Russian-owned people around him to accelerate Putin's plans for Ukraine.
