This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position.

COVID was the proverbial straw. After taking a month to kick it, my immune system became severely dysregulated. I'm genetically prone to autoimmunity, so that's likely why it affected me this way. COVID can disrupt the adaptive immune system's tagging function. I'm recovering, but it is very slow.
