I somehow breezed through all of one piece in about 3-4 months and now idk what to do with my life. What else is going to fill in this one piece sized hole ?

You know how when you get to the end of your book and then start wondering if you’re actually full of crap and your book isn’t needed or good 😌

I have to put my cats in a kennel each time I write bc one of them has discovered the thrill of launching himself across the room and landing squarely only laptop

I’m Aleu, a queer Fantasy & Horror Writer! I mostly write for Young Adult and Adult but I’m dabbling into MG. My current projects consist of a southern gothic (Mexican Gothic meets The Last Tale of the Flower Bride) and an Afro-Fantasy (a la Howls Moving Castle)

Realizing that I’m two chapters from completion and I haven’t shared my current WIP:

a Southern Gothic about a young Black woman who inherits an opera house full of musical spirits

It’s spooky, it’s romantic and there’s something lurking within the walls.

Can I share my persimmons, leaves and water droplets ?

ended up with writers and art block at the end of the year 😭

By the time I finish a book, go through multiple edits and get ready for sub I legit hate it and don’t want to look at it or even think about it

✨2025 GOALS✨

writing:
- go on sub/sell southern gothic
- finish BirdboisWIP
- draft sapphic horror

non-writing:
- rebuild platform on blue sky
- no more ordering out
- therapy 😭

It’s 2025 and I promise to actually be active here now so prepare for a bombardment of posts
