I do indeed think so. I started a Substack recently and $TAIT was the first name I wrote up.

$TAIT Got my first dividend a couple weeks back. Stock still looks very cheap, has come down a bit post -dividend, but more than the amount of the dividend...
A bit presumptuous of me, but @danschum.bsky.social is this a name you have looked at recently? I think it would be up your alley.

2016, 2020, and 2024 presidential election results by decade in which voters were born

Harris didn't lose because of racism and misogyny anyway. She lost because she lost support with the younger half of the electorate. That's where the 2016 popular vote win and 2020 win came from: the younger half of voters. Those voters didn't suddenly become racist and misogynistic in 2024.

Millennials & Gen Z (the 2 largest living generations) having nearly identical formative political experiences will hopefully be beneficial in the long run.

Well, there it is. I admit I'm confused because a core tenant of my hypothesis is that they would need to get someone else confirmed and wouldn't be able to, but if I'm reading this right this isn't one of those positions? Shows my ignorance I guess.

All that to say, who is getting my $25?

Exclusive | Trump Is Preparing to Fire Kristi Noem The president has already been asking aides and congressional Republicans for names of potential replacements for the DHS secretary.

@mtannenbaum.bsky.social Not looking good for my side of the bet, but I'm ready to be proved wrong and happy to see her go. Of course, not official yet and these people change their minds every day...

I would love to see a geographic breakdown like this for generations/cohorts. Can we tease out how much is educational polarization vs. cohort polarization? Boomers and especially Gen Xers lean right as a cohort AND they have less college degrees than Millennials and Gen Z. Which is the main driver?

Oh yeah, lots of crazy ones there too. I found one once that had allegedly won a contract from the Nepalese government to construct what would have been the largest flag ever built and were raising money to fund the project...

So many fun nuggets in nano-cap filings:

"Our management has limited experience in running a public company.

Mr. Read, has no experience in running a public company. He is vaguely familiar with the reporting requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission."

How younger voters will impact elections: Younger voters are poised to upend American politics | Brookings Younger voters should be a source of electoral strength for Democrats for some years to come.

Millennials + Gen Z will make up 54% of eligible voters in 2028.

Millennials are the largest generation in U.S. history. Gen Z is close behind. Boomers (formerly the largest generation) will be smaller than Gen X by 2028.

Democrats don't win elections by winning older voters. They win by running up the score with the younger half of the electorate.

โ€ข 2016 popular vote win
โ€ข 2018 blue wave
โ€ข 2020 presidency win
โ€ข 2022 blocked red wave

All those wins came from the younger half of the electorate.
