This is designed to undermine Holyrood and the Senned. It’s just not on- these parliamentarians were elected and in the Scottish parliament’s case after years of campaigning. They are undemocratic and authoritarian.

Still avoids the question of why Devolved Govts aren`t given that funding, it implies they don`t know best where funding needs to go, its condescending, patronising and ultimately undermines Devolution, which is exactly its purpose.

Scotland has the lowest child poverty rate in the UK, and 90,000 fewer children live in poverty thanks to our policies.

But decisions at Westminster have too often held us back.

I want to fully eradicate child poverty, and Scotland should have the full powers to do it.

While child poverty has reduced in Scotland, even one young person growing up in poverty is one too many.

Today I announced £5.8m for organisations supporting families across Scotland – joined-up help, delivered locally, to improve life chances for children.

Relieved that no serious injuries have been reported after the devastating fire in Glasgow.
