So, while I’m celebrating, I’m also deeply frustrated by what’s happening in the field. This work matters, and we’re not giving up.
Excited doesn’t even begin to cover it—I feel incredibly lucky to continue my research on healthcare policy and public finance in a place that values it. But this news comes at a time when so many brilliant scholars are being pushed out of academia and public service.
