Honored to be included in Tom Murphy’s important documentation of the Denver Avant-Garde. It is a must read for any Denver music head.
Winter 2026 DENVERSE magazine
The scenes were a big aha moment for me, you can build long form material using them. Also using the modulators creates a lot of wild automation. When I’m playing live I’m mainly focused on the master mix, cueing tracks and mixing while switching between scenes. I love how playable everything is.
My recent live sets are centered around the S4 improvising within scenes using a mixture of sequenced one shots and layered tracks. I process a lot within the S4. On the other hand I use the bypass mode as an end of chain processor for more ambient/collab improvisations. It’s really versatile!
So honored we got to roll out these beauties in 2025.

This was helpful, but the aforementioned video is great too. It was very different for me at first as well but it seems like one of those devices that you can carve out your own process/language with. Its slowly become the centerpiece to my process lately youtu.be/3Td5jw9I4Kk?...
Decline serves as a dialogue and a questioning of purpose. It is a massive, droning "fuck you" to the energies that seek to demoralize the artist. A sonic wall that demands intention—a rejection of the algorithmic forces
Morton Subotnick’s - Touch LP
Spending a lot of time with Subotnick’s Touch lately. I picked this up from a thrift store when I was in my teens. I loved the artwork and had no idea what I was about to experience sonically. One of those life changers that had me chasing experimental sound to this very day #newmusic #vinyl

“We still have to live under that — that fear of losing our identity, losing our culture, our religion,” Leonard Peltier says about his continued commitment to Indigenous rights. “The struggle still goes on for me. I’m not going to give up.”
Where to begin with Iannis Xenakis, one of the most pioneering percussionists and electronic composers of the 20th century.

I love this!
Seeing Mark Ernestus DJ this past weekend in downtown LA was surreal. Healing, especially in the midst of all this unnecessary and cruel chaos. If you get the chance to see him, take it.

Ariel Kalma - Osmose (1978)
This one started it all for me, an album that sounds exactly like the cover art looks, with songs like "forest ballad" and "planet-air" - the latter I built an entire mixtape around years ago. true magic that sounds like it was birthed in a rainforest
Manuel has a little write up on RA as well as a lovely mix to get you through your day. ra.co/news/82902
Highly recommend this one, esp. for fans of minimal techno. Has some great early Mille Plateaux / Sturm vibes. A nice entry to summer gem! 💎
