They're holding my Red/Blue nostalgia hostage and I equally love and hate this
The new Gorillaz record is growing on me. It usually goes like that with their new releases for some reason?
1st listen: Uh, I don't know..
10th listen: Damon Albarn is a genius and I will follow him into death
It's like, what do you MEAN Magikarp is from the hood??? But also, SURE! I love it!
so nostalgic, i really love the flirts with the old GBC games
i don't want to be a responsible adult
I WANT TO MAKE FLOWER BED HABITATS FOR MY POKรMON
I'm becoming very convinced that marrying Pokรฉmon to Dragon Quest Builders and Animal Crossing was a genius move.
Steam community requesting additional body types for added immersion.
A large block of sentient tofu
Steam community: โCan we play as a male character?โ
Me (indie dev in this economy):
โBest I can do is sentient tofu.โ
It's finally time to step into the shoes of the Cleric.
Esoteric Ebb is out NOW on Steam.
May the dice be in your favour, except for when its funny if they're not ๐ฒ

How about The Arcana? Been around for a while and has a dedicated fanbase.
I'm trying really hard to not be entirely AI sceptical but when a company AI agent automatically sorts out a service quote request email as "soliciting services" and instantly declining, I have to laugh about how cooked corporate is becoming. They lost a client because of their AI!
Key art from Cairn.
CAIRN (2026) is a beautiful, emotional rollercoaster which through somewhat janky mechanics forces you to take a long hard look at yourself.
You're really going to put one hand at a time to scale a massive mountain? Yes you are. Is it worth it? Not knowing until it's done is the whole point.
Dug into this absolutely wild thing happening to Finji. The deeper I read into their increasingly baffling conversations with TikTok "support" the more I felt like I was on something.

Ok but listen, that one though
I kinda blame TGA for consistently treating awards as the filler between trailers, priming an insatiable gaming crowd to truly disregard the craft and the messages that developers contributed with even when it should be the main event. Slightly disheartening.
I noticed that the viewers in the livestream chat had some unmet expectations.
To them, award shows now equals announcements.
And the disappointment set in when realizing that this award show indeed only had awards, and they failed to pay attention to anything actually happening on the screen.
Very cool to see Sweden get its own professional Game Awards show and some well-deserved winners last night.
Previously we only had an award show focused on students, and now we have both! And it's the right year for it - in 2025 Swedish games had a constant presence on the Steam top sellers list.
Sailor Moon 30 รฅr i Sverige!
Key art from Ghost of Yotei.
Took a couple of months but we finished GHOST OF YOTEI (2025).
It's a fine revenge saga but I have some gripes with the writing. Why set up the Wolf Pack as a menu tab if we get absolutely no payoff for befriending them? These characters should have been more invested in assisting Atsu's vendetta.
The little joys of parenting, I assume ๐ฅฐ
My mother loves doing this thing where she says "We won the sports game" with a knowing smile, and then leaves me guessing whether she means Sweden or Finland.
Screenshot from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
Rolled credits on CLAIR OBSCUR: EXPEDITION 33 (2025). It's by no means a perfect game but it gets all of the critical things right: vision, ambition, and heart. That alone can, and should, be enough.
I'm a big fan of how the script doesn't overexplain most things but just lets them happen.
Screenshot from Many Nights A Whisper.
Also spent 1,5 hours on MANY NIGHTS A WHISPER (2025). In that time you'll experience a whole journey of ethic conundrums and the burden of carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. It was a happy coincidence for me to cross paths with this game during a time of self-doubt and reinvention.
A screenshot from the game 'and Roger'.
AND ROGER (2025). Pathetically ugly crying over my Steam Deck. Beautiful. Uncomfortable. Heartbreaking.
Games are art.
A screenshot from 20 Small Mazes
Ok, I had to check out Fleb's other work so I played 20 SMALL MAZES (2024).
If you think you've tried every type of maze, think again. It's free, short, and really clever! Definitely a dev I want to keep up with going forward.

STRANGE JIGSAWS (2025). Short, sweet, strange.
I love games that makes you feel like you're having a conversation with the developer. This game does that: it starts with a heartfelt invitation to play, escalates to clever quips and challenges and rounds it off before it runs out of substance.
this is genuinely incredible
