Yeah, you're not wrong. I'm not sure regular people though are arguing that in completely bad faith, they could be convinced the 3rd way guys' argument is nonsense.
I think it is just completely flawed analysis on their part. Fine, maybe only, say, 5% of voters care enough about supporting Palestine to not vote over it. But in margins as tight as the last decade, losing 5% of your voters *will* cost you the election! And you could choose not to lose them!

These are “low enrollment” majors but the classes are regularly at capacity. They changed the funding structure a few years ago here, switching the allocation from course enrollments to majors then blamed these departments for a structural, top-down change. This is entirely a political choice.
