In addition to the HBSB (PC acronym for the modern age) check out that yellow banana seat - super sweet...
Brutal functionality has an aesthetic - well captured on a perfect day.
Thank you and agreed. It is very rewarding to capture a connection. Likewise a joy to process and share.

Thank you... I think so as well..
Yes, I was fortunate to stumble across it at a local art installation. It was in an old grain silo with incandescent light. The curve of the silo wall helped wrap the light around (if you will) the puppet.

Iโm too stubborn to read the article :)
Is this a nice way of saying hard-headed?
I seem to recall seeing old B&W (circus or carnival) footage of Capuchins atop ponies trotting circles in a small ring

What is break even on a barrel of Permian crude these days, $45?
Managed to dig up the lens and it wasn't an Ektar (I must have traded it) but rather a B&L Baltar 50mm f/2.3. Spiral on the Helicoid is similar but not the same. Sorry to have bothered you...
She's a beaut!

You may be right. I think the lens I have is a "cinema" Ektar but I could never confirm it. What I really want to know is the flange to focal distance so I can try to rig up a 3d adapter print to give it a whirl on a mirrorless camera..
I'll pull it out tomorrow, as I recall it was 35 or 50mm. It's just the lens housing assembly with iris and focusing helicoid. I searched for info on it but couldn't find anything specific online. This is the closest I've seen to it - specifically the helicoid groove.
I have an old Ektar. The spiral groove on the interior of the barrel displayed is similar to the one I have. Mine is wider but same aperture. I never could find an adapter to put it on a mirrorless camera. I need to dig it out and see if I can find a 3D adapter print for it.
Interesting concept in a digital image age. Looks like a hoot to shoot but I shudder to think what film would cost these days. I'd really like to see a compact camera like this with an updated Kodak CCD sensor, ~ 16mp would be fine.
