When filming a classroom of kids, the *instant* the child you have in close up, starts picking their nose, you *immediately* find a different kid in the room to film.
Why is it, that while convalescing in bed & recovering from the Flu, my creative ideas just start pouring out of my brain?

I’ve encountered a significant number of producers that just hate them. I always want to ask them, “what did dissolves do to hurt you?”
They are part of the grammar of the moving image. Do you also write without using commas?
I sweat by the Logitech MX Ergo trackball. So much gentler on the wrist. It does take some time getting used to using your thumb though. I’ll use a Wacom or Huion tablet now and then. And a heavy combo of StreamDeck and macros (AutoHotKey on PC or KB Maestro on Mac).

FreeFileSync is my current fave. The really cool part is that you can save off “batch” file versions of your sync job and then run it directly, with no need to interact with the app. Cross-platform is a big bonus.

This. Something I noticed this year was that a large number of the posts I saw on 4-1 were just falsehoods made to appear legit. They were doctored up as legit looking press releases or they were plausible but false. Not nearly as funny as they could have been.

Back when my son was into Percy Jackson, he followed it with several Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer. Also, don’t forget Rick Riordan has other stories from alternate pantheons - The Magnus Chase takes from Norse Myths. They are also engaging.
