I just had a discussion with a family friend about this. His stance changed from beginning to end. I’m making anyone who wants to talk to me about this own it & be absolutely painfully honest with themselves about what this war is about and why.

I miss my gram. I wish I could just talk to her. I’m lucky to have my hubs and family but she would understand my feels in a way no one else can.

I just want to go on record and say that you people are crazy if you think only 6 American soldiers have died in this conflict. It's pointless to expect the truth from mainstream media about anything much less this war of preference/choice.

My family was extremely unsupportive, so it was just my hubs & I. Looking back kids having kids 😂. But bonus points for the hubs, when his job refused to let him have time off he quit and barely left my side. He did the following 3wk nicu with our oldest while I recovered from hemorrhaging.

That’s so sweet. I did 3wks in preterm labor with my oldest. They had me on some toxic meds and it was rough. My nurse had to take her weekend and when she came back I ugly cried. I was 18 and not prepared

Oh lord, I’m happy you were able to regain some mobility. 10 surgeries is… wow.

I lacerated my pinky flexor& ulnar. Seems small, but the trauma from the injury & surgery caused a cascade of unmasking disorders. In 4mnths my life has completely rewritten itself and it’s been challenging to come to terms with it

Got my wheelchair today. I’m still ambulatory, it’s just to help me concerned energy and be there for the bad days. Bittersweet

The extent of voter suppression will be state by state. Any federal moves would be challenged & at best wouldn’t take effect until after midterms.

I keep thinking about voter intimidation. People may not want to go to a dropbox or fear they need a passport, so they won't vote at all. I feel like we need to start training for ballot collection or make Know Your Rights cards, election style.

Just to sum things up …. The Big Bill took Healthcare and Food assistance away from people who need it and gave the largest tax cut to the ultra wealthy .. but we have a trillion to the Defense department and over 100 billion for ICE …. 🤔. We suck
