You get localized genocides as extremists who have been plotting for decades get to roam under-policed rural areas.
What do you get when you mix this rising unrest and political tension at home, a weakening of the economy and rising prices, and a country with more guns than people?
You get the Balkan’s on steroids.
You get terrorist attacks every day. And every attack begets 2 retaliations the next day.
We’ve spurned our allies globally, unseated ourselves from the position of global hegemony. And to top it off, we’re descending further into authoritarianism everyday with unrest increasing at a steady pace. All while weakening our economy.
Defaulting on our debt would cause massive hyper inflation as the government scrambles to pay down the debt. Millions of people are already food insecure. They’re about to loose even more support here in a couple weeks as the government shut down continues.

USD being the default currency globally has ensured that our debt ceiling being too high wasn’t really ever going to bite us. But losing the globe’s dependence on us increases the chance of us defaulting on our debt.
These orders are pretty clearly designed to destabilize the country and the US’s position on the global stage. Pulling back USAID globally means that the areas that we existed in (to spend and make international communities dependent on the USD) has the potential to unseat the USD…
It’s pretty clear to me that most of the GOP and those in power are getting the marching orders externally. Or at least the top level GOP officials are getting marching orders from some 3rd party, whether that’s billionaires like Peter Thiel, or some other global power like Russia.
