So many flooded fields for the Pintail to choose from at the moment, so why not visit Cholsey for a change. #PWC2025 #UKBirding
Wonderful news Geoff.
I feared these little lovelies may have moved off patch after so much disturbance over the last week of cutting the willows right back, clearing the ditches, heavy machinery, bonfires etc. How happy was I this morning to see this.
Short-eared Owl giving me a very late afternoon treat in South Oxfordshire.
Brown Hare - Iβve sent quite some considerable time watching these wonderful creatures and never tire of it. #wildlife
A quick visit to Henley Road GPs to have a look at the magnificent male Smew that Ben Sheldon found yesterday along with the redhead. Although distant, and hidden for most of my time they were an absolute pleasure to see.
Fantastic photos of a beautiful bird Conor. Well done.
Very nice Paul.
Beautiful photos Thomas, well done.
Very quiet day on the local patch, but the Corn Buntings are always a welcome sight. One of c15 this morning. #UKbirding
Juvenile Peregrine Falcon on the patch this morning having just made a failed attempt at catching a Meadow Pipit.

Late afternoon walk with my dog Bella with light disappearing fast, (3.30) so very pleased to stumble across a Sanderling on my patch.
A first for Cholsey.
