Today is Fat Thursday. I went to my local Polish shop to buy doughnuts. So tempting, but what to buy? I was reassured by the lovely woman serving that because it was a special day they were calorie free so I bought 2 with rose jam

Yes, I think that's what it was. It was so hot on the balcony this year. I hate to see plants just shrivel and die but there was absolutely nothing I could do. They are such joyous flowers too.
