It rarely gets talked about but the people in the far exurban Twin Cities & rural Minnesota who have been hit by the occupation have it really hard. Mutual aid much more scarce. Friendly neighbors might not have much means to help.

Right! I realized that (for me) it cheapened the idea of faith if I was going to let the actions of a bunch of humans destroy it.
I want to hear this but for what sparked your reconstruction into your faith.
Mine was working in LGBTQ+ civil rights. When I saw people who held fast to their faith who had been treated violently by the church, I started to think about who my faith belonged to, and who gets to take it away.
