I’ve been loving short books this year and WOW I was stunned by how much life and love and longing this book packed in with less than 200 pages. Such an interesting read, I wish I could read it for the first time again. 📚💙
I try to find ways to volunteer in my local community and I helped paint a nature education center that has been closed for 15 years! Excited to see it up and running for kiddos and adults alike soon.

I’ve been knitting my Melt The ICE hat for a dear friend who lives in St. Paul. She has been giving me daily updates, and I’m continually astounded by the way Minnesotans are showing up for one another. I will be sending this off to her soon! 🧶
First and foremost, I just finished an ARC of Nothing Tastes As Good by Luke Dumas and it was AMAZING. such a good body horror/critique of society novel. It’s about Emmett who joins a trial for a weight loss drug but then starts having horrible side effects. So good! 📚💙🩸

After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like.
And if it did get over 86, it would last two to three days tops. Not a week. Bring back 1995 Washington weather I miss it 😭
I curse this 94 degree weather!! I am sick of sweating my ass off in bed every night. There is a reason most home in western Washington don’t have AC — it was never supposed to be this hot here 😭😭😭😭😭😭
