A astrophotography image of the famous Great Orion Nebula, in the constellation of Orion. A link to a Wikipedia article in the comments of this post. The glowing nebulosity of this deep sky object is very roughly in the shape of a misshapen bubble leaning to the upper left. The overall color of the outer nebula is a pale greenish blue, becoming a pale red toward it's interior. Complex fillamentary structure of the gas and dust in the nebula is both reflecting, and emitting strong light from the hot young stars the illuminate it from it's brilliant core just below center. And below the core is an area of dense dust that blocks the light, with some lesser areas of nebulosity adjacent. Throughout the image are many brilliant stars, most of which are actually not part of the nebula, but in the foreground nearer to the Earth.

To the left we see some large, blurry, orange rocks, and some blurry water that looks like it is moving or has some foam on top. The bird is standing right at the edge, facing toward the right, with one leg lifted like it is stepping forward. The head, beack, neck, back, and tail are dark gray. There is some white above the beak and above the eye. The underside of the bird is white. The legs are dark.

My favorite of the local #tits ... Crested Tit (Lophophanes cristatus). It generally prefers conifers at higher elevation and since Hungary has little of either, it is a bit uncommon in the country, especially in the lowlands. #BirdingHungary
