yeah i actually went and did a quick test, full netherite still taking 9 damage unenchanted. absolute insanity
oh good lord, yeah I had a small inkling in the back of my head about the potato launcher, I never got any use out of it but that would probably insta full netherite on power 5 if not even more. It's a fun concept but really needs retooling, i'd honestly just gut the bow enchants it uses myself.
Also also, I don't think them having these systems as a form of automation are a necessarily bad thing, Vintage Story does similar quite well in it's own game, though it trying more for realism in the progression does help keep the tech locked into farther in the game, all create has is brass for it
I'm being genuine in my wonder in how it's got balance issues btw, when thinking of exclusively the original mod and nothing else it feels like it stands well on it's own for balance, usually you don't get the game-breaking exploits or tricks without some other mod in the mix not expecting it.
I'm curious what you mean about the mod completely shattering the game's balance? I don't know if it's because of the ease of use automation becomes for anyone to do, some specific renewable resource the mod allows you to get much easier than expected, or something similar.
Thinking about how bsky has the most horrible setting turned on by default that says "i don't want to see any other languages except English" and if no one tells you to put it on "no selection" you straight up won't see posts from people set to different languages on your TL.
