the way he had all the lights up (ice shows are usually dark), all the stuff he had on the boards at competitions, the recording of the announcer calling his name…when he finished skating this it completely redeemed the Olympics for him and it was incredible to watch

in 2022 Yuzuru Hanyu popped his first jump in the Olympic short program and finished off the podium as a result and a year and a half later he recreated the competitive short program environment in an ice show so he could exorcise those demons and skate clean. Ilia should do this imo

one of the funniest things that has happened to me recently

The other day I was on my bike with the trailer heading to school pickup and I made eye contact with a cyber truck driver while we were both stopped at the same red light. They were clearly as confused and discomfited by my vehicle as i was by theirs. It was exactly like this meme
