All that being said, I’ve seen way less hate in either direction here as opposed to back on Twit. And I for one have always like all 3 man guys in all of their configurations. Let’s Steddy those Hands, baby! (Steddy Hands is the ship name for Stede/Ed/Izzy, in case you haven’t heard that one yet.)

Everyone is going to have their own take on it but if I remember correctly a lot of the division between hardcore Izzy enthusiasts and GB fans happened in the time between Seasons 1 & 2. I think there were a lot of annoying people on both sides who couldn’t just let people like what/who they like.

I just really miss Ed Teach, ok 🥺

Edited still of Ed Teach in the scene where Blackbeard’s crew raids a ship hosting a wedding (Season 2 episode 1 of Our Flag Means Death). Ed’s in Kraken mode wearing his leathers with kohl smeared on his eyes and on his short scruffy beard.
