Hey, I loved Pokopia and it surprisingly dug into some of my deepest existential fears about keeping the memory of people we've lost alive. It's one of the best games in Pokémon's 30 years.

I see a lot of people complaining about Purple getting this.
1. The purple decks you hate aren't using this
2. It may be slathered in purple but this is actually an orange card

I sadly wasn't able to get entry into the main competitive event, but spent the weekend trying out draft and playing tons of side events:

Baron will also score a point if Baron's Pit does not exist yet.
He will create the battlefield token, enter there, which starts a showdown.
If that showdown goes uncontested, that should be a point scored!
Fun rules with Baron:
Adding an additional battlefield means you have to score on this one as well to score the winning point, as you have to score on ALL available battlefields to win. "

We'll still need clarification, but if this does mean he makes an entire new battlefield separate from the existing ones in the game, this kinds of changes everything.
I figured we would have battlefield creation sooner or later and I'm stoked its happening this quickly.
Oh, and he can't be chosen by enemy spells or abilities. You have to deal with him the old fashioned way
