This is a black and white image of a foggy scene. You can see old, brick buildings to the right. You can see benches and hedges to the left, and trees in the distance, being masked slightly by the fog. In the centre there is a single figure emerging from the fog.
Gold Hill is well known after a 1970s television advert for bread, directed by Ridley Scott. I’ve shot it countless times. What’s sad to me, is that people stop there and don't venture to the right with a minute's walk.
