I cant wrap my head about the idea that they can even seriously teach people that science or evolution isnt real, to anyone I know, religious or not that's plain insane. It would make more sense to simply update with the times and say god designed evolution and/or sparked the big bang

theyre lovely! traditional art always benefits digital artists a lot, no matter the discipline, it really helps with line confidence and enjoying more the quick parts of drawing (or sculpting/painting) without falling in endless correction xD

It's always said that to make anime or cartoon styles you should learn anatomy and realism first, that's very true, but it's often not heard, and this is also very true... that to make good charming realism or semi-realism you need to learn to draw cartoony, anime or heavy stylized stuff as well :)

I don't think it makes us any better, just different, because it does add difficulty, but everyone has different challenges and that's the fun part, right? we just develop a different workflow that works, which is in part why no two artist's style and process will look the same

They're vile, they're using us as excuse to defend their lazyness and lack of apreciation for effort and art itself lol. Like ok you have a massive skill issue and not just skill but you lack soul and intent, we don't, so stop trying to use us as a shield to pretend is valid to use GENAI

AND YES, ALL OF THEM, 'even' (you guys need to value these vital skills more) making color palettes, a quick moodboard, or writting that stupid mail. Not only you dont need AI, but it's going to degrade all your art journey, creativity and even mental plasticity to deal with problem solving.

Aphantasia is the reason I started drawing, instead of building images on my brain I learned to build them on paper with a pencil, challenges (unless debilitating like having a stressful precarious life) bring forth creativity. Any skill you delegate to AI means you're stunting yourself.

So, hi fellas, I have aphantasia, the inability to create ANY kind of image in my brain, my eyesight also messes with my symmetry often due to see the right side a bit bigger than it should, I have VERY shaky hands, an old wrist injury and a terrible case of AUDHD. Don't believe any excuse to use AI

I love elder scrolls so much and every time I see your art (also animal art including dinos or prehistoric beasts) rly makes me smile

I will sometimes do some comercial stuff I don't dig but that's not all that common, and try to draw some stuff only for myself to keep myself motivated. At the end is kind of key to search what you enjoy from every type of drawing and theme and stay as much as you can in those areas

like you said, it's about balance tbh, I feel like the reason I improved so much the latest years and got more and regular clients is because I try to play with drawing things I enjoy on a personal level but also benefit me

yeah the og deffo doesnt have room the ammount of detail in faces and stuff the other has, it looks MASSIVELY like a filter, the choices are also really odd in some places, and not int the human error kind of way
