The article you linked to used the word "mocked" which is why I referred to mockery, but assuming more abusive comments, there's still a huge difference between that and bullying. I'm not defending abuse, but let's not minimise bullying by equating it with abusive comments.

Can I push back a little on the idea of equating mocking someone with bullying them? I was bullied heavily when I was at school, and was often in fear of leaving school at the same time as my bullies. Mockery would have been water off a duck's back. I think the difference is important.

Well, we appear to have done the recognise and rectify bit: Edu's gone, Ange went, even Dyche has gone. I suppose time will tell if we've learned or not - I'm not currently convinced that we're repeating the same mistakes instead of just making new ones.

I don't know about you, but every place I've ever worked at has made bad hires, even in key positions. To me, the important thing isn't whether someone makes mistakes but whether they recognise, rectify and learn from them.

So what other change are you hoping for - new manager, perhaps? :)
