Actually, it’s pretty mild when added w/ potatoes, sliced onions & carrots to a braised chunk of arm roast (or Chuck roast). Braise the meat in Dutch oven, then cover & @325F ~2 hrs, then add veggies, a bit of water (for steam), then cover & cook a few more hours or so.
If this root vegetable is trimmed & waxed, it’s a rutabaga, aka Swede, aka ‘bagie,‘ not baggie. Delicious peeled & chunked in pot roast.
