Super Bowl champions forever.
Thank you both. #Eagles

First day of free agency is mostly for terrible teams to overpay guys on their way to continuing to be terrible. Very happy that the #Eagles are not in that boat.
But it still sucks to see Nakobe Dean go elsewhere. Awesome Eagle. Super Bowl champ. Wishing him the best of luck.
Not sure you can have him on the same team as Nolan Smith without causing him serious psychological trauma. (I'm half serious.)
Next level move by Howie here--arranging for the NFL to announce next year's comp picks JUST as fans are getting restless about his lack of moves today.

NFL Free Agency & Trade Tracker going into Monday...
Jordan Davis played on 374 pass rush snaps total in 2025.
Out of players w/300+ pass rush snaps, here's how he ranked:
Hit% : 1.5% (105th of 114 overall, 31st of 35 DTs)
Sack% : 1.2% (63rd of 114 overall, 9th of 35 DTs)
Pressure% : 7.5% (102nd of 114 overall, 28th of 35 DTs)
Jordan Davis played on 374 pass rush snaps total in 2025.
Among the 114 players with 300+ pass rush snaps, here's how he did...
Hit% : 1.5% (105th of 114)
Sack% : 1.2% (63rd of 114)
Pressure% : 7.5% (102nd of 114)
It looks like a wild overpay for an early-down only run stuffer that makes sense only in the context of how much they clearly value him as a leader/babysitter.
For comparison...
2025 DT snaps on obvious passing downs
Jones (KC) 135/137, 98.5%
Allen (DEN) 194/207, 93.7%
Lawrence (NYG) 134/144, 93.1%
Vea (TB) 135/152, 88.8%
Williams (NE) 134/151, 88.7%
McNeill (DET) 81/95, 85.3%
Williams (DAL) 45/63, 71.4%
Davis (PHI) 30/153, 19.6%
Jordan Davis played on just 30 of 153 (under 20%) of the #Eagles' defensive snaps on obvious passing downs in 2025.
Davis was incredible on early downs, but even more incredible is how he's made the "you don't draft a guy 13th overall to play early downs" narrative disappear.

NFL Free Agency & Trade Tracker! As in past years, the order and exactly who is included are a bit idiosyncratic. I'll try to update daily once free agency begins.

Yes, that's true...they pretend it's always 10 games but obviously it's really 8 or 9 and it's normal for the years with 9 to be higher. Still, the increase over the past 5-10 years has dwarfed the increases in the decade before.
#Eagles 2026 season ticket prices (200 level) are:
12% higher than in 2025
29% higher than in 2024
They're getting us conditioned slowly so they can really go to town when they build the new stadium that many of us don't even want.

Truly one of the most special and unique tributes to everyone’s pal
As I do every year, I'll post an updated comparison of next year's schedule to past years' based on preseason Super Bowl odds, once those odds begin to have more meaning around the time the schedule comes out in May.
In 2026, #Eagles will play an easier schedule (based on previous season outcomes) than they did in 2025--though a lot of that is NFC East driven.
Number of games vs. teams that…
made playoffs : 8 (was 11 in 2025)
had 10+ win : 7 (was 11)
made DP : 5 (was 6)
made CG : 2 (was 4)

The best #SuperBowl champion of the century by combined EPA/Drive (regular season & playoffs excluding garbage time) is still the 2024 #Eagles.
This year's Seahawks rank 9th out of the 26 champions.
There have now been 11 Super Bowl rematches.
