Because nostalgic is definitely the word I'd use.
It's whimsy and feels like the JRPGs I grew up with,alongside all the 'magic' and 'flaws' that come with it.

The Moguri Mod gave the world and it's characters that whimsy storybook-look I absolutely needed for this game,alongside some QoL stuff that made it such a pleasant experience to play!

Yeah I get they wanted to keep him mysterious but when he popped up I kinda got that inkling that he and Zidane are closer related and I was completely wrong lmao.

I get why a lot of people would want this game remade now.
I don't think it really needs it but there are bits in the story I think could be expanded and explored more and a remake could probably do that.
But they don't need to. The game stands perfectly on it's own now.

My finale is no longer fantasy
I can see why this game is as beloved.
There are some smaller things I would have liked to see more expanded on in the story but the game's length and side content is wild.
It was a lot of fun.
Also the mods to pretty the graphics up a bit are amazing,cannot recommend them enough.
Gave the game some real storybook feel.
