I'm realising that how lonely I feel in fandom lately is because all of thise fandom spaces I used to meet and talk to people are dying. It's all becoming the same corporate gray where nobody is willing to reach out.

I find myself having to read the article slowly as I'm experiencing genuine grief over the loss of dA, all the friends I made on it, and this period of my life.

I realise the death of dA coincides with the time period I stopped considering myself an artist, and stopped feeling good about drawing.
