I'm in the outskirts of Montreal until the middle of next week (first time here, and the first time in Canada in over 7 years) and I'm really glad to be having stuff like this again. Also, demand to get off the bus.
The biggest issue is that all of these mini consoles uses low cost ARM based SoCs (System-on-a-chip) and emulators. The lower end systems (up until the Genesis/32X) doesn't need that much power to emulate. Sega Saturn and Dreamcast need more expensive SoCs that wouldn't be profitable for SEGA imo.
Probably to cash in on the brainrot. Still, I don't even know if this will rake in more players, as I think gen alpha is already playing this game in large numbers.
