I approached this blog by @adamboxereducation.bsky.social with a fair degree of scepticism because I think coaching is an effective way to make lasting change but he certainly raises many real difficulties in implementing it well.

I think lots of your criticisms (accurately) apply to CPD in schools generally so maybe ppl are broadly in agreement with you? (Shock horror)

On a separate note, I have worked in multiple schs with coaching and unless you're a trainee or working with one, you *never* got any extra time.
