Just some light rabies for a nightcap lol
I got a book with a ton of tiki drinks a few months ago, so far my favorites are the Mai Tai, Saturn, and Aku Aku. Painkiller is on my list to try.

Omg I love tiki drinks
Photo of the lunar eclipse, March 3rd 2026
Wrecked my sleep for this, but I'm happy with how it turned out.
I wonder what a lunar eclipse looks like from the moon's perspective.
I really love your mask, the detail on the fur is fantastic. I also wear an alpaca poncho with mine, they're so cozy.
Photo of two faux fur canine tails.
I made a tail for the first time! It's the one with the gray tip, I'm very happy with how it turned out. The tail above it is one I bought in 2015 and used as reference.
Desert foxes, for no particular reason :)
So wonderful, I love it <3!
This Celestial Frame belongs to FritoFox, thank you!
Phylogenetic tree of the genus Vulpes, aka "True Foxes". Arctic Foxes (V. lagopus) and Desert Kit Foxes (V. macrotis) share a direct common ancestor 2.5 million years ago
I still think it's funny that Arctic foxes and desert kit foxes (me) are closely related.
10/10 fox right there
Close up of a Lesser Goldfinch (Spinus psaltria) eating seeds from a type of sunflower.
A Lesser Goldfinch (Spinus psaltria) perched on a dried sunflower, looking at the photographer (me)
Found this fella eating seeds from this dried sunflower. I believe they are a Lesser Goldfinch (Spinus psaltria), but if you ask me I think they're great.

Some pics of @fritofox.bsky.social and I at the rave, from MFF. I danced my tail off๐

Thank you! It was our first time wearing them to a con.
Oh hell no I would be so devastated!
Great read! Its not my most listened genre, but Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, and Tyler Childers are also some modern progressive/leftist artists worth exploring!
Hell yeah we are
#MFF has been a blast, I haven't attended a full convention like this since 2019. It's been exhausting but I had such a great time being a silly critter, seeing cool people and artwork, and yapping on the skybridge.
A view NE from the start of the Birdsong Loop at DNWR. There's a stone-lined path to the left and on the right a large Creosote bush.
The Corn Creek visitors center has this grassy field, it's probably my favorite spot at the center because there are often several different kinds of birds hanging out here.
Male Costa's Hummingbird
According to my search, this is a female Variegated Meadowhawk dragonfly. They apparently prey on mosquitos so I'm glad to have them in my area!
So I got a "new" camera (Nikon D850), a big upgrade coming from a D750. I'm trying to get the hang of using it now that I have a week off work. Here are some evening photos from the Corn Creek Visitor Center at the DNWR, and a couple neat creatures from my neighborhood. More info in the alt text.
I'm reading an old book called "The Voice of the Coyote" by J. Frank Dobie, and I'm loving these drawings. The book credits Olaus J. Murie for the illustrations.
Finally, some kit fox representation!
Absolutely stunning photo.
Creatures at Ren Faire
More birds!
He's just like me fr
A thirsty Opuntia basilaris, aka beavertail prickly pear cactus. Very wrinkly.
I can't get over how wrinkly Opuntias get when they're thirsty.
Average fox interpersonal communication.
Is there a word for something that's both agonizing and beautiful? This is stunning.
Opuntia basilaris is even more fun to say!
We're all foxes on this wonderful day!
honestly the entire ending paragraph hits hard as hell. I feel like this is the most I've ever seen someone that isn't a furry Get It.
