Privacy is so much more than "acting in secret". A Proton account is a great start, their VPN service well worth a try.
Good measurements don't mean they sound good. If you think this has anything on high end you haven't understood what hifi is all about. You need to sharpen your ears, learn to really listen, and then you can reach an even better place. Besides, settling for MOSFET amps now that GaNFETs are breaking?
Does anybody know of any amp designs playing PDM through class D GaN FET to loudspeaker? I have just found PWM variants, like Peachtree GaN-1 or Orchad Audio's Starkrimson. Why destroy the signal through PCM?

You have no (ignored) rounding errors like in PCM. And no analogue edges you'll miss, like in PWM. And the best studios today work in PDM so there is no need to destroy the "original" perfection!
PDM - the most perfect of signals
A Pulse Density Modulated signal is a digital signal. But take off your glasses and it's analogue!
The density of the 1's is kind of analogue and can therefore be played through a LP filter. I'd claim this is the reason it outperforms PCM, PWM or any other signal.
Recursion is genious. When applicable!

No feedback. GaN. Love it. Now make the preamplifier part a separate box, feed two monoblocks over HDMI cables. This way the power supplies get separates, all the noicy Bluetooth and USB stuff get separated from the ampflification stages.
Of course somebody has came up with "my" concept already but I'd like to take it to the next level, having monoblocks feeding the loudspeakers over shorter cables. The shorter the cable, the more you can put on quality.
PDM straight out using GaN is coming! Peachtree's GaN-1 and Carina GaN take whatever digital input, makes PDM and feeds the GaN amplification stage. Brilliant concept and therefore brilliant sound.
I'm definately a loudspeaker first person. The next pair will be Aspen, the only question is what I can afford...
This is for all Swiss people. Some idiot politician wants to put all the country's data into the hands of Microsoft. Which means at the whim of Trump. Insanity! Please sign this petition.
"Over the past decade, Google lobbyists met with the [EU] Commission at least 420 times, and spent well over 60 million euros on lobbying". Fuck Google.
So, left LinkedIn today and created a PeerTube account. Now I am ready to start creating "content"! :)
This link is an Invidious link to a YouTube clip bashing Musk and the other big corp fascists.
The Japanese stand strong! Both Tascam and Korg are still independent and making stuff you crave. :)
I want this to record PDM!

Seriously, every company I look at has been eaten. Ok, this really happened 20 years ago but anyway... Steinberg were Commodore 64 MIDI pioneers. I do have a simple Yamaha mixing board, Steinberg could've ended up worse, I guess

The Dutch startup Axign has been taken over by MPS.
Small companies innovate and then they are taken over by a big one. Is this really sustainable in the long run?

GaN Systems, a Canadian pioneer in GaN transistor technology, was bought by Infineon, spun off from Siemens in 1999. Infineon has gotten at least a billion Euro of tax-payer money.

Reading the Wall Street Journal this morning I just have to lash out against AI again.
First the 100 hour workweek. We know the brain can't even do 8 hours by a computer in a day, all else is waste. Second, basing a business on Stars doesn't work. Third, simulations are not new.

I have the LS50 Meta with KC62, awesome little powerpack! :)
I take this as an argument against using Atlassian tools.
AI benefits the ones already ahead:
"employees with more expertise ... are significantly better at accepting AI recommendations when they are correct and, more important, rejecting them when they are wrong."
Middle management could help, instead of elevating the "stars".

Marx spent his whole life in a loophole! :D The loophole of historicism.
One more comment: About half the budget on loudspeakers and full-range floor-standing. I love the LS 50's but you just can't fill the bass gap...
Ran out of space: But even with a sub you miss out in higher lows... If your budget allows the PS Audio Airlens a fantastic streamer with its "bit timing".
