It really doesn't matter! I wish my head could remember that 😅
It's really okay to explore and experiment, and you can just call them "AU" if you have to.

This one styles this way, that one styles that way. The thought of swapping their styles feels so wrong for no reason, like I made a rule up in my head that the character of mine can only be this one thing.

Sometimes I find it difficult to change one small aspect about a character's design I have. My partner has to remind me it's my character and I can change them whenever I want, but still I have a difficult time picturing a character looking any different than what I made up in my head...

It could have my fave skin add on layers, so I don't need to find them everytime 🤔

Oh, I could have body mods (v-tech, kuromori things, tender tummy) in their own "outfit" folders so I can add them after the base avatar - ensuring things go on in the right order and auto-hide the correct parts. So, no more breasts appearing from nowhere when wearing v-tech.

I know plenty people use regular folders for this and make copies per outfit, but I really like the "link" function so I don't need to copy things multiple times. My inventory is nearly 300k, so any place I can cut down on things would be great.

I want to try it out, but I'm unsure how much I want to divide things up. Maybe the ensemble folders will be clothing combinations I wear a lot, but I can easily swap a piece with another I want to wear instead (w/o making a new outfit for it)
I don't know but it's exciting to think about. 🤔

I want to figure out how to streamline my outfit folders, I have been thinking about it for a while. Would having a separate "outfit" folder for clickies and gadgets I often wear work? Having an "outfit" folder per mod setup (without clothes)? Separate "outfit" folders with full ensembles? Hmm...
