The NACC has been an utter waste of public money. Its sole achievement so far is to further persuade everyone that consequence-free corruption and bastardry are fixed features of government in this country.
It's a sign how far the Overton Window has shifted to the right that Alegra Spender,
who might have been Treasurer or Finance Minister in a Liberal govt several decades ago,
is now sounding far more progressive than Labor.
'Lessons' from these #robodebt findings:
- two lower-level officials corrupt conduct findings
- key people responsible, Morrison & Campbell, face no consequences
- #NACC worse than useless
- governments can get away with anything
- no justice for the victims and families.
