It took me two days, but we got there in the end! I just posted the update above in the thread โบ๏ธ
SUCCESS! It ended up taking close to 40 minutes in my washer and 10 in my dryer, but I am very happy with them now! Once theyโre a smidge drier Iโll take a comparison of them on my feet lol!! #SailorSlippers #KnitSky #Knitting

Another knitting thing that feels like magic: spit splicing. Youโre telling me I just turned two ends of yarn into one continuous piece? With just some moisture and friction? And now I donโt have any ends to weave in?? Magic. ๐งถ

I picked up this multi-colored thread at the quilt shop last weekend and then immediately hypnotized myself by sewing a spiral forever and ever and ever ๐ absolutely obsessed with rope baskets now and I want to make 600 more!

The text โjoy in the journeyโ is visible towards the bottom of the project, bracketed by two hearts. There is a green vine just above the text. Above that is a row of flowers with a beehive (missing one row of stitches) in the middle. There are four finished bees around the hive and one bee with just wings and no body. The letters โliโ have been stitched to the left of the beehive.
Just over a week of stitching here! โฆafter I took this and finished some of the words I realized my stitches were off by two and I wasnโt gonna be able to fudge it to make it work ๐ฅฒ already ripped out the offending section, but the project is in time out now. #crossstitch

Theyโre like finger massagers / fidgets! If you put one on your finger and move it up and down itโs a very nice massage! But my husband stole a bunch of mine to just keep at his desk to use as a fidget lol!
