Specifically i wonder if I subconsciously avoid finishing things because I want to continue to have fun with the concept and am afraid to forget it. Also to keep something in working memory.
I should actually designate capital P projects so I can actually set goals and structures to help.
So there's a psychological thing called the Zeigarnik effect, describing that thing where you forget about tasks that are completed. Its from the 20s and hasn't really been replicated in studies, but dang if it doesnt describe how my brain works

Plus I hate the self-promotion part of being a creator on the internet. I highly resent having to do or think about "marketing" when I just want to make stuff people can see.
It doesnt help that I forget about things very quickly after I finish them. I want storytelling stuff to stop being WIPs but i am not great at the structure and management and discipline parts of making a big project happen.
Also it doesnt help that my brain also goes "ok youve invested thought and energy into this creative thing. What will you Do with the Project?" And i have to keep learning and relearning that Finishing A Project is a very different set of activities and tasks that require a different mindset
Yknow, that autistic/adhd thing where you fixate a bit on reading a room once you realize its something people expect but also you dont really do unconsciously.
I also have to be like "no brain, people actually do want to hear my thoughts on social media thats what it is for."
If i dont recognize my efforts I will undervalue them. Creative effort is Work, much how physical effort is also work. Don't devalue stuff just because it doesnt fit into capitalistic minmaxing
